Kyra Minturn

 Kyraminturn Sedgwick was born on August 19, 1965. She is an American actress and producer. Her role as the main character on the crime drama TNT The Closer as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson is her most famous. Sedgwick was awarded an Emmy Award in 2010 and a Golden Globe Award for 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson. Following the conclusion of the seventh season the show was cancelled on August 13, 2012. Sedgwick's role as Madeline Wuntch in the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine is also notable. Sedgwick was nominated for the Golden Globe for her role in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's film roles include Oliver Stone's Born in July (1989) as well as Cameron Crowe's Individuals (1992) The Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996) as well as What's cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003).
